Kannada equivalent Songs in other languages sung by P.Susheela

 In This Article I am trying to give some information about Some Kannada songs which are reused in other languages like Tamil, Telugu, kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

* Some Songs  were sung by P.Susheela. in both the versions .

* Some songs were sung by P.Susheela in one of the languages.

* Some songs were reused from Kannada to other Languages,

* Some  songs were copied / Reused from Other Languages.

     Some of famous music directors from Kannada are Vijaya bhaskar , G.K.Venkatesh, T,G.Lingappa, M. Rangarao, Upendra Kumar, Rajan Nagendra, Sathyam and Hamsalekha. They have reused some of their Kannada  hits in other languages also.

Nee banthu ninthaga :

        This Song is one of the evergreen Love Duets in Kannada from the movie "kasthuri Nivasa" composed by G.K. Venkatesh and sung by PBS and P.Susheela.  G.K. Venkatesh reused thus tune as "Anaiyatha deepam" for the Tamil movie "Yaarukkum Vetkamillai" sung by P.Susheela.

Nee Muditha Mallige Hoovina maale :

          G.K. Venkatesh composed music for one of the kannada movies "Gandhi Nagara"  . In that he composed a lovely duet "Nee muditha mallige hoovina maale" and it is sung by PBS and P. Susheela. He reused the same tune for the telugu movie "Kanne Vayasu" as "Ye divilo Viresena parijathamu" and it is reproduced by SPB and S.Janaki in Telugu.

 Sharapanjara is one of the musical hits in kannada composed by Vijayabhaskar. In that PBS and P.Susheela  has a lovely duet "Uttara Druvathim" . He reused the same tune for the Tamil Movie ":thottathellam pionnagum" as "Avani Malare" and it is sung by SPB and P.Susheela.

G.K. Venkatesh composed music of the one of major hits in kannada called "Bangarada maushya". In that PBS and P.Susheela sang a superhit melody "Aaha mysooru Mallige".  S.Rajeshwara Rao used this tune for a telugu movie "Chakradari" as  "Naalo Evo Vinthalu" sung by P.shseela with Chorous.

Thaware Hookereyali :

Jayalalitha's debutant movie is a Kannada movie"Chinnada Gombe" . T.G. Lingappa scored music for that movie and P.Susheela rendered the songs for "Thaware hookare", "nodalli meravanige" are the two songs rendered by P.Susheela in that movie for Jayalalitha. LREaswari always claim that she had sung the first song for Jayalalitha. It is partially true because the opening song from "vennira aadai" is sung by her. But P.Susheela sang other four  songs  for Jayalaitha. Also All her debutant movies in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu are sung by P.susheela. This movie is remade is Tamil as "Muradan Muthu" and  acted by Sivaji and Devika. T.G.Lingappa used the same tunes in Tamil also as "thamarai poo kulathile" and "Kalyana oorvalam paaru"

Amara Madhura Prema :

 "Thanga malai Ragasiyam" was taken in Tamil and Kannada simultaneously and dubbed in telugu later.  T.G.Lingappa scored the music for both languages and a evergreen hit of "Amuthai pozhiym nilave" was sung by P.Susheela. The Same tune is used in Kannada as  "Amara madhura Prama "  for the movie "Rathnagiri Ragasya" and that also rendered by P.Susheela.

Radha Madhava Vinoda Haasa: 

T.G. Lingappa composed music for the kannada movie "Schoola Master " and it was remade in Tamil as "Enga kudumbam perusu". In Kannada both the songs "Radha madhava vinodahaasa" and "sompada sanje vela" were  sung by T.G.Lingappa and P.Susheela. In Tamil It was Sung by TMS and P.susheela. Sivaji Ganeshan Acted in Kannada version.

Sompada Sanje vela                            Aakasave Beelali mele : Rajan Nagendra is a composer whose presence in southern Industry is from late 50's. He was very famous in kannada movies in 80's.  "aakashave  beelali mele " is one of hits from the movie "Nyayave devaru" which given the permanant  place to Dr.Rajkumar in every kannadigas heart. That tune was resued by  Rajan Nagendra for a Telugu Movie "Moodu mullu" and this time he replaced it as a duet as "Neekosam yavvanamantha".       AAkasave Beelali mele    Neekosam Yavvanamatha T  Hayagide ee dhina mana                                 G.K.Venkatesh composed a beautiful tune for a knnada movie "Thaayi Devaru" and it is "Haayadgide ee dhina mana" sung by PBS and S.Janaki. He reused the tuned in Tamil as "Then sindudhey Vaanam" for the movie "Ponnukku thanga mansau and it was sung by SPB and S.Janaki. The same tune is used in telugu for the movie "Zamindaru garu Ammayi "  as "Mrogindi Veena". Vijayabhaskar Composed music for a movie "manasa sarovara " and all the songs were rendered by Vani Jayaram in Kannada as "manasa sarovara" and "Haadu Haadu" . He reused the same tunes for the telugu movie  "Amayaka Chakravarthy " and the songs were sung by   P.Susheela in telugu as " manasa sarovaram ".and   "Veena Veena"

Amara shilpi jakkanna Movie was remade in Telugu as "Amara shilpi jakkannachari" and S.Rajeshwara Rao composed music for both the languages. P.Susheela rendered some beautiful songs in  both the languages,

The Song "Naan pesa ninaippathellam" from "paalum pazhamum" was copied by Sathyam for the kannada movie "Bhale bhaskara" as "nannedaya Mathella"

Kedige hoo mudidu : (Muriyada Mane)

The song "thazhaiyam poo mudichu" from the Tamil Movie "bhagapirivinai " is copied as "kedige hoo mudithu"  in kannada for the movie "Muriyda Mane"

Kalavidu Kalavidu : 

Chithi film was remade in Kannada as "Chikkamma" and Jayanthi Replaced Padmini in Kannada version. The song also copied by T.V.Raju as "Kaalavidu kaalavidu" (Kalamidu Kalamidu)  and  "taNNIru suDutihudEko".(thanner suduvathenna)

Nanna aase Hannagi :

Rajan Nagednra Composed music for the movie "Auto Raja" and it had a beautiful melody  "nanna aase hannagi" sung by SPB and S. Janaki. He reused the same tune for the telugu movie "Puli Bbbuli" and the Song  "parimalinchu  Punnamilo " is sung by SPB and P.Susheela

Janeyagiru nanna mallige :
Telugu movie "sivaranjani" was a superhit movie in telugu and  all songs became superhit there. "jorumeedhunnavu thummeda " is one of the best songs in that movie and it was reused in Kannada as  "janeyagiru nanna mallige " . Both the versions were sung by P.Susheela and composed by Ramesh Naidu in both the languages.

Vaalmeeki Songs :

Vaalmiki is a bilingual movie Composed by Ghantasala. P.Susheela has sung 2 songs in both the languages Telugu and Kannada.

The Kannada movie " Gaali Gopura "  was remade in Telugu as "Gaali  Medalu " by. the same producer. T.G.Lingappa composed music for this movie and it has a beautiful melody "Anuragamu nee padaleke " sung by PBS and P.susheela. The same voices replaced the song in Telugu as  "navaraagalu padinthi" .

The Kannada movie "Guru  shishyaru " was dubbed in Tamil as Rajamohini. In that P.Susheela and S.Janaki together sang a song "dheenalu Moreya " and it is replaced by P.susheela and Vani jayaram as "Yezhaiyil muraukel" in Tamil.

The Telugu Movie  "Talamburalu ". was remade in Kannada as "Kankana Bhagya" and all songs were sung P.Susheela in both the Languags. The song "idi paata kaane kaadu " is recreated  as  "idu yaava haadu  alla " sung by P.susheela.

Hey Malish :

The Telugu movie  "Katakataala Rudraiah" is remade in Kannada as "Pralaya Rudra" and remade in Tamil as "Pattakkathi bhairavan". The telugu tunes were used in Kannada version also. I Share one song "Hey Malish" which is the equivalent of "thel malish" in Telugu. .

Harusha doorada meru : 

Hindi Composer "Salil Chaudury" composed music for south Indian movies like Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. He reused the hindi  tune  "madubari ye hawayen "  for a kannada movie  "samshaya phala " and it is sung by P. Susheela as "Harusha soorada meru". .Original hindi version is sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Neevu Namage Siggibiddare :

pendyala Nageswara Rao composed music for the movie  "sathya harishandra " in both Telugu and Kannada Languages. The song  "neevu maku chikanavule"  is sung  by P.Susheela and Swarnalatha (old) ,  is replaced by P.Leela and P.Susheela in Kannada as  "neevu namage siggi biddare raja ".

Kanasalu Neene :

Rajan Nagendra used to reuse his kannada tunes to Telugu movies every now and then. One of his hits "kanasulu neene" from the movie "bayalu  daari " sung by SPB and Vani Jayaram is reused for the telugu movie "Nalugu stambalata" and the song  "Chinukura raali" is Sung by SPB and P.Susheela, The telugu movie got dubbed in Tamil as "naanku thoongall aattam" and the song is dubbed as "sirumazhai Chaaral" by SPB and P.Susheela.

One of the blockbuster of Chiranjeevi's "Khadhi" is remade in Kannada in the same name. Vishnuvardahn replaced Chiranjeevi and songs were composed by Chakravarthy in both the languages.

Salil Chaudury reused one of his malayalam song  "onnam  thumbi nee  odivaa " from the movie "Samayamayillpolum" sung by P.Susheela.  kannada equivalent "Jo Jo laali Naa haduve" is sung by S.Janaki in Kannada for the movie "Chinna Ninna Muddaduve" .

O nallane Savi Mathonda :

 The Kannada movie "sahodhara Savaal " had a beautiful duet  "O Nallane Savi Mathonda " By SPB and P.Susheela  This song is reused in  Telugu as  "O bangaru rangula chilaka" for the movie "thota Ramudu" by the same music director Sathyam.

Sharapanjara Songs :

 "Sharapanjara ". is one of the Trendsetter movie  in Kannada which was a huge success in boxoffice for its story and Music. It was directed by one of the legendary Director "Puttanna kanagal" and music scored by Vijayabhaskar. The same movie is remade in Telugu as "Krishnaveni" starring Vanisri. The same tunes are used in Telugu also.

Manirathram made his debut as director in a Kannad a Movie  "Pallavi AnuPallavi" and one of hits "Nagu  Endide Manjina" is sung by S.Janaki. This movie was dubbed in telugu as "Pallavi anupallavi" and the song  "ede teeyani teearani bandham" is sung by P.Susheela .

The Kannada movie "Premaloka " is dubbed as "Prema lokam"and Dubbed in Tamil "Prauva ragam". P.Susheela got an opportunity to sing two songs in Telugu version under HamsaLekha's Music. One song is sung by Vani Jayaram in Kannada and the other one is sung by Latha Hamsaleka in Kannada.
